The director of the hospital Arlesheim’s academy department sought assistance with onboarding to Microsoft Teams to enhance collaboration and productivity. The goal was to establish an optimal team structure and educate staff on using the platform’s modern collaboration features effectively.
Klinik Arlesheim
Hospitals
Arlesheim, Switzerland
Klinik Arlesheim, located in Arlesheim, Switzerland, specializes in Anthroposophic Medicine. The clinic offers a range of medical services including internal medicine, oncology, psychiatry, and holistic therapies, integrating conventional and anthroposophic approaches to provide comprehensive patient care.
Solution
We conducted several workshops to address their needs:
Team Structure Optimisation: We worked closely with the academy department to design the best team structure tailored to their workflows and collaboration requirements.
Collaboration Features Demonstration: We demonstrated modern collaboration features such as sharing documents and folders internally and externally, document versioning, and effective search functionality.
User Training: We provided comprehensive training sessions for all staff members on using Microsoft Teams for collaboration, ensuring everyone was proficient in utilising the platform’s capabilities.
Due to the successful deployment and significant productivity improvements observed in the academy department, other departments within the hospital quickly joined the initiative. We subsequently onboarded these additional departments to Microsoft Teams, replicating the successful approach and training.
Outcome
The onboarding of Hospital Arlesheim to Microsoft Teams led to substantial improvements in collaboration and productivity across the academy department and other hospital departments. The optimised team structure and comprehensive training empowered staff to leverage the platform’s features effectively. The hospital experienced enhanced internal and external collaboration, streamlined document management, and improved search functionality. The success of the initial deployment created a ripple effect, encouraging widespread adoption of Microsoft Teams across the hospital.
